In a remarkable and applaudable achievement, Madhumati Anand of Std. VIII was selected as one of the finalists for the prestigious Raman Award. She presented the unique Tensegrity Structures for the competitions. She was one of the 114 finalists out of the 5356 students who had submitted their projects from all over India. Though she did not win the prize, it was a life time achievement for Madhumati. She got the opportunity to interact with eminent scientists and Astro-Physicists from the Raman Research Institute and Indian Institute of Astrophysics and present her project to the audience present. By representing the school at a national level science competition, Madhumati added another golden feather in the cap of Puthiyakavu School. Cheers to the young genius!!!!!
