Ramayana Month 2019 – The Malayalam month of Karkidakam started on July 17th. It was celebrated with due sanctity and austerity, with Ramayana parayanam in the morning assembly by our Music Teacher Subhadrama, and speeches by teachers and students exhorting the relevance of the epic in day to day life. Encompassing every value, relationship, and universal truths of existence known to mankind, Ramayanam is indeed the one and only text that has the power to protect and redeem man from negative influences. The whole atmosphere resounded with the profound words of the sacred text, and all minds overflowed with the piety of the recital.
